Reissue of the original 1977 Island Records 12" release of guitar maestro Steve Winwood's grooviest Balearic rock moments. First up is the 2012 doomsday prophesier's anthem 'Time Is Running Out', a floor-friendly disco rock gem with great guitar work and vocals from Mr Winwood and a sweet rhythm section supplied by Jim Copaldi and legendary Ghanaian percussionist Rebop Kwaku-Baah. Flip over for 'Penultimate Zone', a wonderfully deep spaced-out cosmic groover that received heavy rotation on Italy's Cosmic scene and early Ibiza parties as well as finding favour with David Mancuso at his legendary NYC Loft. Quality stuff not to be missed.
