Recollection is a full concert recording from the1970s. The original 8 track tapes have been remixed by David Cousins. Taking advantage of modern digital technology this new release allows fans to hear the band as though they were at the show. Recollection features classic Strawbs songs that have never been released in a live version. 'The Man Who Called Himself Jesus' and 'The Battle' became hugely popular through exposure on John Peel’s Top Gear show. Furthermore Rick’s dazzling organ extravaganza, 'Where Is This Dream Of Your Youth', sounds heavier than ever before, clearly marking the band’s transition from the folk clubs to rock. Witchwood.
