BETH HART og JOE BONAMASSA, to af den nutidige rockscenes største personligheder, har siden sidste år barslet med et fantastisk projekt. I slutningen af næste måned udsender de albummet ”Don’t Explain”, hvorpå de i gåsehudsskabende fællesskab fortolker en stribe klassikere fra bl.a. Billie Holiday, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Bill Withers, Ray Charles, Tom Waits og Delaney & Bonnie.
”Don’t Explain” er blevet til i tæt samarbejde med JOE BONAMASSA’s faste producer Kevin Shirley (bl.a. Led Zeppelin og Black Crowes). Backingbandet består af trommeslager Anton Fig, guitarist Blondie Chaplin, bassist Carmine Rojas og keyboarder Arlan Scheirbaum.
