Hail Hail Rock'n'roll
Chuck Berry
Music’s finest come together for a concert in honour of rock ‘n’ roll legend Chuck Berry on his 60th birthday. Among the star-studded line-up are Eric Clapton, Etta James, and Bruce Springsteen, who each offer their own interpretations of his songs. Directed by Taylor Hackford (RAY, AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN), this feature-length documentary paints an often fascinating portrait of Berry and his pioneering work in the genre. Further insight can be gleaned from interviews with a host of rock ‘n’ roll icons including Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Roy Orbison, and The Everly Bros. Tracks include 'No Particular Place To Go', 'Sweet Little Sixteen', and 'Johnny B. Goode'.
