LP: Tori Amos: Night of Hunters (2011)

Tori Amos er hædret, hyldet og genkendt for sit uforlignelige musikalske talent og nysgerrighed, og på “Night Of The
Hunters”, udfordrer hun igen de gængse termer.

Den Grammynominerede, millionsælgende singer/songwriter har skabt et album, der er inspireret af klassiske
værker fra de sidste 400 år.
Albummets numre er alle indspillet akustisk med klaver og strygere i fokus.

Om albummet siger Amos: “I have used the structure of a classical song cycle to tell an ongoing, modern story. The
protagonist is a woman who finds herself in the dying embers of a relationship. In the course of one night she goes
through an initiation of sorts that leads her to reinvent herself allowing the listener to follow her on a journey to explore
complex musical and emotional subject matter.”
