The Big Combo

Classic film noir directed by Joseph H. Lewis. The film follows Leonard Diamond (Cornell Wilde), a police detective determined to bring down notorious gangster Mr.

Brown (Richard Conte). After being told his investigation is being closed due to the cost of surveillance, Diamond goes after Brown's girlfriend Susan Lowell (Jean Wallace) as a way of getting to his man. The cast also includes Lee Van Cleef and Brian Donlevy.
