Boy Erased

Boy Erased is a 2018 American coming-of-age drama film based on Garrard Conley's 2016 memoir of the same name. The score to the movie is composed by Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans. The film featuring original songs by Jónsi (Sigur Rós) and Troye Sivan.

The movie tells the story of Jared (Hedges), the son of a Baptist pastor in a small American town, who is outed to his parents (Kidman and Crowe) at age 19. Jared is faced with an ultimatum: attend a conversion therapy program - or be permanently exiled and shunned by his family, friends, and faith.
