Filmed on location in Qu?bec City, Qu?bec, and Paris, France, the video consists of 15 scenes dramatizing real-life situations such as dining in a restaurant, shopping at the market, and visiting the doctor. Its purpose is to teach students how to function both linguistically and culturally in a French-speaking country. The DVD version also includes a running transcript.
