Publisher Marketing: As Borough Task Force team Uniform-X-Ray 646 continue to battle crime on west London's streets, an insidious product of Britain's failed multicultural experiment, heads off to war in Syria. A young man with a grudge against British society is honing his battle skills in a far off land, and he's hell bent on seeking revenge on the cops who humiliated him. While the officers of Houndshale's BTF hold the thin blue line, Dawood al-Britani Akhtar is stalking Syrian villages, his AK47 spitting death. When two worlds collide, there will be hell to pay... Praise for Front Stack Written by someone who knows the service 26 May 2015 There is a great deal of factual accuracy in this book, as anyone who has served in the police will know. A compelling read. Cops just the way it is 11 October 2014 As an ex bobby this book is just so real in its way of describing things, it's just like being there again it's excellent. A modern day policing romp! 8 April 2014 Front Stack is an honest no holds barred tale of modern day policing, warts and all. The author carefully crafts a work that intertwines fiction and reality seamlessly, proving that fact after all, can be stranger than fiction. Whilst the book is fictional, it will resonate with every serving and retired police officer in the country, as a realistic portrayal of the never-ending cycle of violence, drugs, crime and anti social behaviour faced by the boys and girls in blue every day. Front Stack also encapsulates the stifling political correctness and humour based coping mechanisms of police officers perfectly. For non-police readers it will take you on a journey of discovery as you are introduced to the world of policing, with interesting sub plots that will keep those pages turning. Contributor Bio:  Frost, VM Vincent (Jack) Frost. I was born in Stamford, Lincolnshire and grew up on the Mediterranean island of Malta, returning to Britain at the age of fourteen. In 1979 - after a period in a children's home and a tempestuous time as a grill chef (I walked out when the soup boiled over never to return!) I joined the British army where I served in the Royal Artillery in Germany, The Falkland Islands, Northern Ireland and as a United Nations soldier in Cyprus. Leaving as a senior NCO, I remained in Dortmund, Germany where I took on a variety of jobs, including building work and english language instruction. Returning to Britain in 1997, my employment continued to be interesting with jobs such as vehicle test examiner and residential social work in a children's home. By Conscience Bound is my first book, although I have written book reviews for a magazine. My second book - Dead Or Alive In Purgatory - is now also available and takes an irreverent and unbiblical look at my idea of the afterlife. The Sunday Times of Malta has also published an article about my history on the islands. Favourite Channel (Malta) has aired a news item about my novel and Radju Hompesch (Zabbar Malta) were kind enough to air a 60 minute discussion programme about my history in relation to By Conscience Bound. Newly released is the true story and inspiration for my work titled The Boy In Wellington Boots which along with By Conscience Bound is now available in print. Now available, cop thriller Front Stack - first in a series. My varied life continues...
