This document explains the birth of the American Constitution. It was during the Revolutionary War that the United States adopted the Articles of Confederation. This document was the law of the land until the American Constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787 by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. Alexis-Henri-Charles Clérel, Count de Tocqueville, usually called by Alexis convenience Tocqueville, born in Paris July 29, 1805 and died in Cannes 16 April 1859, is a political philosopher, politician, historian, precursor of sociology and french writer. He is famous for his analysis of the French Revolution, the American democracy and the development of Western democracies in general. Raymond Aron and Raymond Boudon and others have highlighted its contribution to sociologie. François Ferret, meanwhile, highlighted the relevance of its analysis française4 Revolution. His work has had a significant influence on liberalism and political thought, as well as those of Hobbes, Montesquieu, and Rousseau.
