The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum art heist went down in the annals of unsolved mysteries. Now, one group of adventurous individuals will team up to find the truth. But first, they have to resolve conflicting agendas, repressed jealousies, and giant egos from blowing the case before their investigation can even begin.



What happened in the early morning hours of March 18, 1990? The authorities know that thieves disguised as police stole thirteen pieces of art with a combined value of $500 million, but what happened afterward? Not a single piece of the art has been recovered since that fateful day.



Mark McIntyre wants to change this. Not only does the heist appeal to his sense of drama and adventure, but the ex-polo player and art aficionado also wants the $20 million reward. He teams up with his ex-girlfriend, Mary; her husband, Nicolas; and a brilliant new acquaintance, Farouz, to solve the case. Each of the members of the team has his or her own motivation for joining the investigation and their own secrets to keep.
