Could Jesus Have Been a Teraphim from God?

There are many doctrines that the church has developed over the past 2000 years that are not necessarily of a biblical nature. The way translation committees translate the New Testament from its original language of Koine Greek can be done to satisfy current traditions and not necessarily what was meant in Jesus' day.
