Coverage in this annual review of the literature presents a comprehensive and critical survey of the vast field of study involving organophosphorus compounds, from phosphines and phosphonium salts.

Marc Notes: A comprehensive annual review of the literature published on organophosphorus compounds, from phosphines and phosphonium salts through to phosphorus acid derivatives and others. Table of Contents: Phosphines and Related P-C bonded Compounds; Tervalent Phosphorus Acid Derivatives; Phosphine Chalcogenides; Phosphonium Salts and P-Ylides; Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids: Mononucleotides; Nucleotides and Nucleic Acids: Oligo-and Poly-Nucleotides; Quinquevalent Phosphorus Acids; Pentacoordinated and Hexacoordinated Compounds; PhosphazenesJacket Description/Back: Coverage in this annual review of the literature presents a comprehensive and critical survey of the vast field of study involving organophosphorus compounds, from phosphines and phosphonium salts through to phosphorus acid derivatives, nucleotides, ylides and phosphazenes. The critical reviews in this volume enable industrial and academic researchers to keep abreast of the latest developments in their specialist fields.

Contributor Bio:  Allen, David Professor David Allen is Emeritus professor of chemistry at the Sheffield Hallam University, UK. His main research interests are in phosphonium salts and related compounds. Current interests include the preparation of phosphonioalkyl derivatives of biologically active molecules, the phosphonioalkyl group facilitating the passage of the biologically active agent through cell membranes, and studies of the formation of biologically active surface-functionalised gold nanoparticles.
