This fourth volume in Corazon Sandoval Foley's Burke Vignettes Series focuses on America's Greatest Generation who after WWII created important community infrastructures, including the professional firefighters of Fairfax County, notably Burke, Virginia. The career firefighters are becoming to look more like America with prodding from the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the One Fairfax Vision. The appendix includes a review of life during the 2020 year of the coronavirus with the Foley family.
