J.j. Cale - the Lost Session

Though probably more known by the public for his songs which have been performed by other artists (including Eric Clapton's "Cocaine" and Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Call Me The Breeze,"), JJ Cale's unique style has been a huge influence musicians such as Clapton and Mark Knopfler. Along with Leon Russell, Cale founded the Tulsa Sound, a potent combination of blues, country, and rock'n'roll.
