A Moment Of Romance

Benny Chan directs this romantic action drama starring Andy Lau and Chien-Lien Wu. Wah Dee (Lau) is a small-time criminal, an orphan who survived the streets of Hong Kong. Being a skilled driver and rider, he is enlisted by psychotic Triad leader Trumpet (Kwong-Leung Wong) as a getaway driver for a heist that goes wrong.

In the aftermath of a robbery a teenage girl, Jo Jo (Wu), is taken hostage. Trumpet orders her killing but Wah steps in to protect her, therefore severing his loyalties to the gang and they to him. They go on the run from the gang and from her wealthy parents, and in the process fall in love.
